It was always boring........now we have the life history of each individual taking part.
" Tarquin Sinjin Smyth is taking a year out to study quantum physics.... "

Yeah, and I'm scraping barnacles off my dingy, but I don't go on about it......
Don’t you feel that about a lot of sport now? Paralysis by analysis. When I was a kid you switched grandstand on and straight into the action. We seem to love talking about people now rather than actually watching.

I’m regarded as a traitor round here for supporting Cambridge but partly farming in Oxfordshire. But I was born in Cambridge. Well done to both men’s and women’s teams winning today!
Mind you it would have been rough for them to have lost on home ground.

The start at Queen Adelaide village has three railway lines (two of which are level crossings) and the river run through it.
My mother and her identical twin sister were brought up there.
That stretch of the Great Ouse is all man made and replaced the original river that ran further to the East. Much of which went through my Grandfather’s farm. My Mum and aunt would be sent up to the old river bed to collect coal that the barges threw overboard when they bottomed out.

Great to see the Fenlands in Spring. I can smell the crops growing there from here!
