For clarity, I can find nothing online other than that one thread to indicate BGB have gone into liquidation and the Companies House website shows them as still trading.
You would be surprised , one or two not far from us have had more than 1 ltd company in barn construction etc and someone else’s name pops up on another one straight away when they have gone wrong , should not happen imo.It’s a fair point, but I think you will find he and many in his shoes did not exactly fold the company, pocket the millions and retire to Barbados.
More like disparity between quote acceptance and rocketing prices left them high and dry.
Probably got hit by the price rises, was always quite a slow payer and that got worse as the year went on. Signing a contract in Feb for a fixed cost shed in June when prices were rising has been difficult on many, wasn't it Robinsons who went bust last week too, to just start again then next week.
It has been sold to an unrelated long established business as a going concern. The Bob Green business however is showing all the classic signs of going bust and restarting with the same premises. same staff and being owned by a different member of the ame family.Just looked Robinsons up…..sale whilst in administration so still a going concern.
