Is anyone here currently running one of these? Anything to look out for? Pros cons. I know of one guy who is running a 2.6 ton 6 meter and is very happy with it.

Currently running a 5 year warranty and 5 year 0%finance offer so maybe instead of buying a second hand telehandler this might be the way to go.

Advertised using a doosan engine. Any comments welcome.
Have had a TL43.80HF AGRI for 6 months now no problems very pleased

I have a manitou at the moment,I was very pleased that I took the extended warranty!! It is a 629 bought new 4 years ago lots of niggly problems mainly to do with the coolant system. I really like it to work with but I have had the new manitou on demo and didn’t like it . Felt very tinny and cheap build. I am seriously considering the bobcat for my next one, our local garage has taken on the agency and have sold quite a few. The ones who have bought them seem happy.

We bought a 3060 bobcat this year to replace a merlo 32.6.

5 year warranty was what clinched it for us, our last merlo was a 15 plate model and had only done 3000 hours but there was always something wrong with it, either a leaking push on coupling or an electrical gremlin and we never got on top of the issues. Every time the dealer was out at it you could guarantee three bill would be minimum ÂŁ1000. then the drums of hydraulic oil it went through was incredible, easily 25 litres a month. It doesn't take long to eat into the so called better resale values.

I was worried that the bobcat wouldn't live up to the merlo in terms of performance but six month in and it's done everything the merlo could do, I do miss the diff lock on the pit but I just adapted my driving style to compensate and we got here to climb just as well as the merlo did.

We priced a manitou and it was a good bit more and they wanted an extra ÂŁ4k to extend the warranty to match the Bobcats 5 years. Tells us they don't have much confidence in their product.

So in conclusion we have no complaints with the bobcat and we know exactly how much it's going to cost us for the next5 years

@marco thought I'd revive an old thread, did you do anything about a Massey Ferguson telescopic loader demo wise, bought one or did you knocked it on the head?
Ending up buying a TL 30-70 agri3. Being honest, the hydro took afew hours to get used to, and like everything else once I got used to it I happy with it. 150hrs on it now. Price has gone up since as far as I know. When I bought mine it came with 5years 0% and 5 year warranty. Even my dad who's in his late 60s can hop on and go.

If you dig in to the settings, you can change oil flow set max speed and a few other things.

Main gripe is no intermittent wipers as far as I can see.

It lifts stuff up and puts it down again, it fly's on the road. Nice and comfortable on the road. It's still on two bars (out of four) Def fluid from whatever was in the tank when it came , so that's pretty good.

Could probably get higher profile tyres when time comes to change.

Would I buy again? Yes.

Thanks for that, please you are getting on well with it,there is a used one at my local Massey dealership with not many hours on it probably give the rep a ring in the morning, that'll make his day, especially with my yard being full of green/ yellow paint
Might even look at a new one,if the deal is good'un.
Only load grain and move fert/seed about so not a particular hard life for a telehandler.

We’ve had our 30-70 a couple of months now, really pleased with it. Haven’t used it on the pit yet(waiting for grass to grow first) but I was using it to push dung up the other day and I was impressed.

Does anybody know if the current incarnation of these machine is roughly the same as say 5 years ago? I am looking at used and thinking something thats come out of a 5 year warranty wouldn't be a bad buy compared to other brands that only have a years warranty.
