I've been asked to k the question on here which is the better one out of cosecure or Wynnstay own brand? they went in to Wynnstay and they were pushing their own brand I've got no I though who makes the bolus for Wynnstay
Any help would be gratefully received cheers all

I used Cosecure for cows. Had iodine deficiency and cows weren’t letting calves suck. Started pouring iodine on the cows back initially then bolused them. The vet had done a trial on blousing stock then blood testing every week to see how the boluses were performing. Cosecure came out on top. Interestingly the chelated vitamin drenches that claim 6/8 weeks only lasted a week to 10 days.

I would say Smart trace and Cosecure are pretty much similar. I was comparing them for ewes last year with the vet and we decided on smart trace again for molybdenum lock up purposes.

We have ridiculous moly lock up here too. I have used Cosecure, Agrimin Smartrace, Animax 3-in-1 and Mayo in different years. All have worked as well as each other, but the Mayo ones have been the easiest to administer.
Agrimin need to reduce the size of theirs before i’d Consider them again. All given OK, but much more of a fight with Smartrace than the smaller Animax or Mayo, IME.
