Glad you're enjoying it. You could try Rider Haggard's 'A Farmer's Year', which was his diary from 1898 - you wouldn't believe how much you'll recognise, even from all those years ago. And if you want to find out where the general public get all their mad and totally inaccurate ideas about what we get up to, try (frequent breaks will be needed to calm down, though) The Running Hare, by John Lewis Stempel. See if you can get through one page without saying "That's not true!!"Enjoying reading the book, got me into reading but what other farming books are a good read? Any suggestions of something similar?
