As the feed market appears to collapse I've booked in an allocation of blend for the winter at a price a tad higher than at moment(did it back in May/June), got a feeling it'll be tumbling in a month or two. I've not actually signed anything, do I put as much pressure as possible on re negotiating price?

Cheers guys, I wasn't going to jib, just need as best a price as possible next time. And I still need sortin for something to give heifers with silage for winter, and prob molasses as silage is low in sugars, just wanting some leverage! Like everyone, I like to get a good deal. But can't be right all the time! thanks

Many feed merchants would buy their cover forward based on the orders they had coming in so they may well be locked into higher prices too. You made the deal, stick with it, as others have said, if it was the other way round you wouldn't be complaining .... unless the feed chap suddenly turned round and charged you more of course!
