Best supplier to obtain boom control valve for an old Hectacre/Allman sprayer? TIA.
Just spoken to Neil. Hasn't sourced one for 15 years! Looks like it'll have to be a breaker if I can find one...
Reminds me of irrigation control valve tops about 20-25 years ago when I was in Aussie.
Now to remember who made them
What size are the ports on the valve?
This is looking more like it...
One inch. May have found a 3/4 alternative with slightly different wiring at Spraysure near Lincoln.
But yes, looks a good match for the old one. Any details/link?
Delavan on one of the others...
Hmm just had a search on google now for “Delavan 37541”
There’s a 1” NPT threaded viton diaphragm valve in the states but no stock.
Also an old Canadian eBay advert for one, again sold out:
Hmm I reckon you might be able to swap your Delavan valve with a Hunter PGV Jar Top style solenoid valve (with an optional 12v DC coil)....
Yeah, found that one also.
We'll see what comes in the post now. Won't be here until Saturday though. Bad timing, only just got spraying too
Thanks though for your help. Could be handy info if the part that comes is no good. Much appreciated
