Does anyone use one of these? I see you can get them up to 25’ thought it might be handy for steep/wet/rough bits mostly using mcpa. Just wondered if they worked well or do they not carry enough liquid for that amount of coverage?

Bought one of these about ten years ago. Spray is a bit coarse for bunches of nettles but does thistles/ docks ok. Have done small areas of grass with roundup but not 100% cover. Proper boom with normal nozzles would do a better job but probably dearer

^this. I bought a Boominator thing years ago, which covered 15'. The problem is that the droplets are so coarse to get them to cover the distance, that the coverage on the target plants is very poor. Whilst it curled the thistles & nettles (in grassland) over initially, they all perked up again.

It might be OK with some chemicals that require less coverage, but very poor with Thistlex/Pastor IME. Proper boom or a weedwiper seems more effective.

Any more info on this one? As I’m looking for something like this to spray under solar panels TIA
Not a lot of info I'm afraid. I use it to tidy up round the edges of fields. Which isn't very environmentally friendly I know. It was moved to the front as couldn't see what was going on with it mounted on back and sometimes crop got sprayed. 🤦‍♂️

My brother made that bracket at front himself. It folds up and down. Would be ideal for spraying under solar panels if fitted with wide angle nozzle.

If you want any more info or pictures. Please ask.
