Boots..... again

I know it's been done to death but I really need some boots
I've tried to support uk manufacturers and always had BUCKLERS but this is the second pair that have had sole separate from upper despite their guarantee of life of the boot
I have contacted Bucklers by the way and they are not interested, any way ......
Boot recommendations please, no dealer type boots as they cripple me, good lace up type boots
Work involves stock and general farm duties so often in wet grass
I use wellies for really shoit jobs
Thanks

I've just bought a second pair of Redbacks; they're Australian but I feel less guilty by buying them through a UK dealer

I need a new pair of red backs but after this pair has lasted less than 2 years I think I will give them a miss. The uppers are perfect, the soles have just worn through in no time and are useless.

I've gone away from redbacks due to them not lasting as well as they used to, gone all sloppy in the foot and sole coming away, got a pair of buckler hybrid dealer boots with laces, they are much comfier than the pair of redbacks I have, time will tell how long they last but I wanted something that supported my ankles more.

Got a pair of buckler buckshot dealer boots here, lasting well so far, seem better made than their normal dealer boots with more heel support too.

I find that Strauss last better than most, but on their Augsberg pattern (£50 ish) the soles part from the uppers long before the soles show any sign of wear. 6 - 7 months is the longest I've had a pair before they part company.

Have just ordered a second pair of these from Strauss; they're a really comfy boot and have lasted very well. A bit on the heavy side but I've been really pleased with them. Strauss do add VAT to safety boots at the checkout; if you're not VAT registered though you can contact them and the order can be placed without VAT added as they're 0% rated.

I have a pair of haix. Excellent quality but not as comfortable as others. I remember stories of soldiers buying their own boots as the haix were uncomfortable.

I had a pair of Haix previously and found them very hard; there seemed to be very little bounce in them somehow. They also failed pretty quickly and I got a full refund on them too :(

My redback boots last about a year which is good for boots I think. Used to wear hoggs but they only lasted about 3 months and were £56 compared to redback at about £100 so I save about £100 a year

Yes the sole has no flex and give in it. Hard work if on all day. I will try some soft insoles with them.
Whereas my strauss ones are really comfortable.

Looks good. And they are actually waterproof unlike others that claim to be.
