Border Leicester ewe lambs

My BL ram put some CB ewes in lamb with the result of some unexpected late lambs. They look pretty good but they are still young. No intention of starting a BL flock but wondered if it would be worth keeping and crossing a couple of the ewe lambs with a Texel ram in autumn 2021 if they look the part. So is the Farming Forum collective advice a 'yes, go for it' or a 'nay get them sold fat ASAP and just be glad there's a few extra late lambs'.

But what is a CB ewe, is this a sheep with a fondness for route 66 & 2 way radios?

Border Leiester crosses do look the part though. Should be good easy lambing milky sheep

If CB is a Hardy breed then yes, if its not then get shot. All Leicesters have a will to die and need crossed with a hill or hardy type sheep in my limited experience.
