Bozo tonight looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights, he seems to think the answer to every problem is we are all going to be paying each other "loads of money"& then everything will be hunky dory, got a feeling inflation figures can only be heading in one direction so look out!

You know what’s good at this juncture. Leavers no longer afraid or embarrassed to clearly express dissatisfaction with the Brexit which has been delivered. Buyers remorse is becoming ever more apparent, and as it does so, Labour will finally be in a position to differentiate it‘s Brexit policy from that of the economic suicide squad of Boris/ERG/DUP.
Watch while Starmer develops his withdrawal agreement renegotiation strategy. Customs union here we come.

Copied from my post on FB this morning

The last three interviews I've heard with Boris Johnson applies and now in the light of reports about George Eustice at a Conservative fringe meeting

The pig processor rollover crisis is not of farmer's making

Boris wilfully conflates pig slaughter at an abattoir for food with on-farm killing and incineration ; massive welfare and food waste implications. First cull yesterday in my local county Suffolk yesterday and predicted to be 150,000 out of spec pigs in coming weeks

Politicians like the DEFRA Secretary George Eustice briefing there must be butchers if processors are bringing in Eastern EU accession state pork; it's actually NL, DK and German and it involves mechanical automated processing not the skilled butchers for cutting full UK carcases

Of course deep down I believe they do know and have been briefed fully but the current stark facts just don't fit with their political ideology and they (wrongly) believe they've a political majority and they'll cope just fine without the rural vote

Longer term we need lobbying support to boost the number of smaller local abattoirs and on-farm mobile facilities. Post Brexit they can't blame EU veterinary and other costs

Stand by UK farmers who are caught up in this please.
Buy UK only pork, lobby your MP and follow Save GB Bacon

To all those who believe the title of the thread that Boris is a joke, think again, his “bacon sandwich” replies are not a sign of ignorance and bluster, it seems to me that it is a clear signal that farming for food production, and livestock farming in particular, have no place in the blond bombsites vision of a high tech, high wage, oligarchs tax haven Britain of the future.

He just comes across as utterly directionless. One minute he's advocating a swashbuckling tax lean future outside the EU, the next he's raising taxes left and right and cowtowing to the green lobby (otherwise known as hard-left socialists). This week its all about building a "high wage" economy... where did that come from?

He is being led. Initially by Cummings and now by his wife.

There is no vision, no ideas, no leadership.

Well it’s not that surprising. Johnson was such a crap journalist that Max Hastings had to sack him. As a crap journalist he’s well used to churning out unfunny one liners without taking responsibility for anything. Cummings got him elected, did he have a vision for the country? I guess we’ll never know.

So, Prime Minister, your plan as told to Andrew Marr on Sunday morning is for a higher wage, higher skilled economy in the long-term.
My question is why did you (The Tory party) not begin to implement the extra training which would obviously be needed for this after the 2016 referendum ?
I agree mate.

"Nationalise all business".

Many past governments have implemented tax breaks for apprenticeships, we used to have “technical colleges” where you could learn basic welding and machining techniques. Round here they have been sold off for housing and replaced with lecture theatres without ANY practical learning.
Seems that Agricultural Colleges are one of the few places that still teach an element of practical.
