Boris seems to have endless chqs to write out and making promises ,to look good. But it’s maybe time to get a grip on his own countries problems .If Ukraine joins the EUROPEAN union where does that leave dear Boris with any trade deals with them.Let’s face it Boris and Miss Truss are not liked by Putin and I wonder when all the dust has settled which countries will turn their backs on us and look after each other in Europe.
Russia is in the wrong but wars are in many countries ,the world is changing for the worst too many politicians trying to be prize cockerill.
Boris and his MPs have their heads in the sand only raising them to look big .
Ukraine are fighting hard to save their country and need all the help they can get,but I fear what will happen in the future for this country if we even have anything left to sell.
Its the young ones that will pay a heavy price for todays mess.

I personally think the uk should be staying out of it, boris appears to have a cheque book for anyone except his own country. We’ve got some seriously hard times coming and that cockwomble and his disciples need to remember who they work for and who will have to eventually pay for it.

How right you are.I note once again that Switzerland is not sticking its nose into this affair. They have got more sense, and they look after their own citizens at all times.

I am no longer a Boris or Truss fan but that doesn’t detract from the fact that we have a moral duty to do the right thing by supporting Ukraine fully. If we measure everything by how much it costs or e what the rewards will be for doing nothing we are no better than China or Russia. On the whole and I agree and a generalisation but Britain has a proud history of doing the right thing and that is what makes me love this country despite the potholes and host of other irritations that we encounter I feel happier being British right now than German,Swiss( Nazi bankers) French or Italian.
Knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing is not for me .

Are we standing up to aggression or is it simply Johnson trying to keep his job by playing the big man at our expense!
This Government doesn’t lead it follows it’s very good at assessing public opinion and doing what it thinks will be popular as soon as people get really fed up with fuel and food prices he’ll throw Zelensky under the bus. Remember Covid Boris was ready to look after the economy first but as soon as the newspapers started crying about the old folk he did a rapid Uturn.

The person currently residing in no 10 Downing St. loves to be loved. Any agro, and he's off.
When Zelensky realises that Johnson has sold him 60 year old obsolete armaments, he may change his tune. We actually have more ceremonial horses than we do operational tanks.

And at the time Johnson was being lauded in Kiev (yesterday?) he was, it's reported, supposed to be supporting his candidates in the Red Wall seat elections. They had no idea he'd fled the country and was thus a no show. Better to grandstand in Ukraine than answer (bluff and bluster?) awkward questions on illegal immigration / fuel costs / food costs and energy at home - and in no particular order.

Kiev is Johnson's new walk in fridge, somewhere to hide from the nasty public. It's a bad do when the PM thinks visiting Kiev is a safer alternative to Wakefield. :banghead:
