Seems Boris's future is now in the hands of the Labour party & the local police, whilst Tory MPs are convinced Starmer would never win an election so could tolerate Boris until after the next election, should Starmer get fined for partying & have to resign there's a very good chance Burnham would replace him & there's no way Tory MPs would bet on Boris against Burnham so he would be dumped very quickly!
God I hope the police fine Starmer!!

Sounds like a NIMBYs charter.
Locals are the last one ought to consult on planning, they will always want their house to be the last one built; ever.
Edit,
I will go further, Govt should be able to force through critical infrastructure projects on an ultra-fast track programme. They were able to build nearly a mile of M1 per week, back in the day; it would now take 10 years of environmental consultants and special interest groups before they could even start.
