Was annoyed with the guy doing the Lime Mortar. The first rule taught on any Lime Mortar course is dont use a cement mixer to mix your Lime Mortar as you never get a decent mix.

I know that it's a bit drier over in the east of England compared to down here in the west country but I can't understand any one going without adeaquate drying capacity, either on farm or within a co-op store. I don't know how many acres he has, but when you're into brand new combine territory, being able to dry ones corn must be essential.
Here in the East we often get enough dry days to get the crop in the barn dry if the logistics are in place to make the most of the best weather.
Having a reliable, adequately sized combine is the key to this approach.

Anyone continued watching this to the end, last one was a bit of a classic for avid RT transgression watchers, Tom's heap of spring barley at 49C, not a pedestal or fan in sight, big bags of seed corn stacked on stored grain, dog running about on the heap of "bread" wheat whilst he was testing it, at least dog didn't do the usual trick, and deposit a turd that he had been baking for a fortnight awaiting a heap of corn to lay it in :ROFLMAO: .
Noticed the dog too, not great idea for farm quality assurance, wasn't even that the dog ran up he called it up.

A quater or half a million was mentioned for a drying setup....20 odd grand would get him a new mobile drier that he could use in emergencies, would have sorted his barley better than a shovel.

Maybe just the programme but he doesn't come across as being very switched on to reality.
