Last year we had an inspection in September and he altered some boundaries etc resulting in some map and area alterations. Although everything was fine overall, these queries went to the mapping people at Reading, we had a couple of calls and exchanged emails with them confirming that we wanted boundaries left as they were, they had to ok it back to the payment division for payment, got it about the end of January.

1st Dec this year though!

Has anyone else had their claim status go back from "Preparing for Payment" to "Claim Validation" or any other status, I have taken screen shots of both! Obviously fills me with confidence about their multi million pound computer system!!

im similar, had a payment which is roughly the acreage of last year including greening but no young farmer payment, also all my newly rented land isn't on it along with the young farmer and greening for that!
suppose its better than normal, normally may when I get mine in 1 go.
Have worked it out to be around a 10th now of what it should be :(

No changes from last year:rolleyes:

Except a dual claim query in October :scratchhead:
Which we rang and emailed about and had both written and verbal confirmation it was sorted. Obviously not :banghead::poop:

Until we get our statement, we can't do much about it.

We still file a paper copy, not online. No inspections, remote mapping etc etc. Land use/ownership hasn't changed in around 35yrs (n).

Bloody farce.

I rang and they said I had to wait for statement.

Mine went from final checking back to claim validation, rung them to enquire they said they arn't talking to farmers yet they will contact us if they need any thing.

Still no sign of the moment bet here either HLS or BPS, had to have another chat with my bank manger to extend the overdraft even further. But chatting to folk at the mart it would seem most lowland farmers had got the BPS it’s just folk with common grazing that don’t.
No change there then :(

Similar perspective from here, Old Tip.

Additionally, we're all still owed the 3 years BPS commons shortfall which the NFU has recently gone very quiet on.

edit:- just opened today's post containing my long-awaited envelope from the RPA.

Hilariously, it's not the 2018 payment advice keenly expected here, nor even the 2015-17 shortfall, but just their latest circular :-

"Prepare for 2019."

" ! BPS 2019 will run as normal on the same basis as 2018."

Fortunately, being a farmer, one's resistance to major disappointment is still fairly high.

dont get me started i finally got a reply a few days ago about the email i sent them last week of Nov about HLS/ELS
overdue payments & here is the reply i got.
It makes as much sense as a typical answer from a politician :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Sadly, I have to report that this happened to me last year. It seemed to mean (although no-one said of course) that they had discovered a problem at the last minute and would therefore put the claim in a huge tottering pile that will be dealt with after all the 'simple' ones were done.

Upshot for me was partial payment in February or March, complaint from me when the statement came through revealing that it was all their error why they had lost my EFA and had to fine me as well as losing 50 ha too. Balance turned up in July.

Good luck
