Not sure where you have read that about the Tories - here is what Defra are working towards;

Every colour is saying they will move all payments to the environment - there is no way they can say anything else because this 'climate crisis' as taken over all rational thought.

And will be the be all and end all, until we have another crisis... Energy crisis is my bet when the effects of all the greeny stuff means we run out of power!

Have you any proof of that or is it just a remainer bellyaching?from what I have seen the Tory’s are saying it will stay the same for 5 years were as labour have said it will be the same but moved onto the Enviroment straight away
when did labour say this? and when you say moved to the environment what exactly does this mean? being paid to have more set aside? margins alongside water courses?

the greening is classed as environmentle payment and stewardship make up a fair chunk of the spend on farming
if they want us to go to low imput farming and pay towards it then that is what will happen
currently under stewardship low input cereals gets a payment higher than 3 tonnes of crop per ha plus the greening and bps

strange logic, farm less in the uk so that it can be replaced with produce from south america which just adds to deforestation

Its inevitable, and will be less under a Labour government as well, although not as bad as a straight Tory Majority government. Its not going to happen with Corbyn though.Agricultural subsidy support policy will be similar to what it was pre 1973,except any government now will have many more reasons to divert the £3 billion to the NHS or elsewhere.

Thank you, I downloaded edge from my iPad and it worked in the end.

by now the bps 2019 should be all paid to everyone they have had 5 years of operation and several more in lead up to get the system up to scratch
any private organisation would have been out of business if it was so bad

after brexit I hope they just adapt the current administrative systems rather than start from Scratch
this is the third system they have used in 20 years they should have now learnt that the it industry cannot deliver what they claim when they commission a new system

Not only does each new system fail to deliver it usually comes in shortly after I have finally mastered the previous system! The last SFP took my only a couple of hours, the first year of BPS application took days and days! This year I had BPS application done before my coffee was cold. (y)

I'm at "preparing for payment" stage...… mind you according to the webpage the last three years are also all still preparing for payment :scratchhead:

Don't want to wee on your chips, but i met the exemption last year when the 30Ha was removed. Wasn't paid for greening and penalty applied. Luckily met the crop diversification bit anyway so it was only the efa. Raised a query on 3rd dec, still in their pile every time I ring.

I bombarded them with rle's and put lots of hedges on for 2019, even though I shouldn't have needed to.
Not so good then (n)

ours is gone through, ok but then all the figures were correct its just how the computer had added them and the triggered its own 'non complied ' totals. and 'No' instead of 'not required or exempt'
software glitch most likely i should think.
