I blame tin ternet banking, got to keep checking every bloody thing to see whos paid .In the good ole days of a cheque and a regular postie you knew ,it was much more satisfying and much less hassle
I dont do internet banking a lot of what im owed is payed by bacs and i pay by cheque or direct debit

well im old fashioned in relation to dealing with and receiving monies .Theres more pleasure in a cheque or cash than sitting in front of a screen, last week a payment of a few thousand hit the bank same day a cheque landed on the mat for a few hundred the cheque was more enjoyable cos it was in my hand

Madness. How far do you have to go to actually bank a cheque . Here its 12 miles or have to post it to the bank.
cheques are a pain in the backside .
