Entitlements to end​

Entitlements will end with the BPS scheme. You will need to hold entitlements on 15 May 2023 if you want to use them to claim BPS in 2023. Entitlements will not be needed after this date. This means that you will not be able to make entitlement transfers after 15 May 2023. For transfers of land with entitlements or entitlements only, the ‘effective date of transfer’, or where applicable, the date the lease agreement starts, can be no later than 15 May 2023.

Entitlements will not be needed for delinked payments.

Yup. Just fallen into this trap. I assumed as I was only renting out each individual field once to a neighbour to grow spuds, I'd be OK.
No. I didn't claim all my entitlements over the 2 years, so they are going to take some of them back.
Barstewards. My fault though, didn't read the rules thoroughly.
Annoyingly, I bought these entitlements after already being diddled out of them in 2005.
TBH, can't wait to stop claiming altogether and give WAG the finger.

Not many, only 5ha worth. But I didn't have many to start with....

It's all wrong for us small people that only had a few surplus as methodology of better to be over than under as when the SAF measures come round we loose meters and meters every time and NOTHING GONE ANYWHERE?

Yes. Thought I was doing the right thing handing over control to the chap farming it on May 15th.
Should have kept quiet and pretended spuds were mine like everyone else does.
Oh well.

Bump. Still looking for a few units of R1. Going rate seems to be about £150/ha.
