No payment, no inspection, no reasons given. If I knew the problems I would help. The not knowing if it will be this week or in June is not helpful. Spoke to the RPA and the 'case worker' who knew nothing. At least in the old days the 'case worker' knew what was going on and had seen the paperwork. We are going backwards with how the RPA work. Must try and stay positive, finding it difficult.

Same here, no payment, no inspection, no common land, no reason given when I have rang them.
Neighbour inspected, deducted a percentage due to a mistake with sheep eartags was paid early January.
The system is a joke.

Ditto! All grass with no changes for the last four+ years, no inspection, no remote sensing, no stewardships, no common land, no historic problems = no payment and no reason (given or apparently even known) for delay.

Has anyone had any joy getting backpayments for errors made by the RPA? Two years running we have had no payment for quite a large piece of land because of the same error. It's supposed to be 'getting sorted' for the last 12 months but no one seems to know anything about why the same error has now been made twice in a row (basically a zero in the box where there should be an amount of hectares for that piece of land) or seems in a hurry to give us the missing amount.

We keep chasing and chasing and are becoming increasingly concerned that any post brexit payments will be based on the incorrect lower amount.

If only RPA were better communicators with us the customer? It is not rocket science is it. Tell us as individuals what the problems are, we will help to resolve them, as we know what is going on on the ground and then we will have a better idea of when we will be paid. We can inform those that are waiting on us to pay them, win, win.

The most likely problem is money. Is the money there to pay out? I’m not sure it is

Letter from rpa this morning stating they are going to start paying bps 2018 after a period of 6 weeks

@livestock 1 do you meant they are going to start paying BPS 2018 in 6 weeks time, or they have waited the 6 weeks and are going to pay now?

If we have to wait 6 weeks, then we enter March and that is when there was a proposal/suggestion on the table to pay a bridging payment?

The letter I got today said they were going to start paying bps 2018 in six weeks time so end of March at the earliest

That is shocking. To say they will pay in 6 weeks time, but to say they will start suggests they are not paying anything for a 6 week period?

You are assuming they looked 2 months ago, it's a cruel irony that those of us that had inspections ( and passed) are last paid and those that weren't checked ( and therefore may not have been compliant) are largely paid first.

Totally agree. I was Inspected and passed no issues as I have done the last 4 out of 5 years and I’m still waiting! Nothing paid. It is ridiculous not to mention financially braking me. I hear that universal credit is modelled on the BPS system, no surprise that is hitting the headlines at the minute.......

No payment at all here. I haven’t had it but if there is correspondence about suggesting that it will be a number of weeks yet before they start paying again, it is a scandal. How can people who are still to paid compete on the same footing as those now paid nearly two months ago......?
