Has anybody had an inaccuracy recognised by the RPA and corrected yet?

Sort of. I had a field that was on my list online that was down as 'Other' rather than Arable or Perm Grass, thus meaning my 2015 claim had insufficient eligible land for what I was claiming, resulting in underpayment and penalties. This fields classification was changed to Arable (which is what it should have been) in time to allow me to put it down on my 2016 claim. However I have heard nothing regarding the 2015 underpayment and nothing about reinstating the entitlements I was penalised for not using on my 2015 claim.

The area payment for moorland is going to be wrong on a lot of claims as they have omitted some of the claimants on a common and their rights. So if they miss off 100 rights out of a common with 300 rights, the division is wrong and all other commoners will have been paid too much. So next it will be the round of RPA wanting money back. There will never be a time when they are 100% accurate with the division of common rights - unless they have built in a contingency and that is why we do not see the actual calculations for each common.

Same here but the area was not big enough to attract penalties. Just a couple of entitlements vapourised. And short on payment.
I was told to claim 2015 on the full entitlements and send an appeal letter.
The letter is signed for 28/04.

RPA staff at RC Show last week said that these errors and omissions from 2015 were now being corrected and the corrections bolted to 2016 claims at the same time. So all will be well.
They said.
That appears to be the official line anyway.

Just checked the Rural payments site and a ! icon has appeared for the first time alongside a field that was declared ineligible in 2015, and was fined for claiming it.
Having pointed the error out to them, I assume therefore that someone is looking into it!!

Just checked mine, the omitted field has now been included on the land maps.

Don't know if they're working on it or, it's changed because 2016 application has taken over.

Just called to find out when my amended statement and corrected payment might arrive...sigh...the Direct Payment window has been extended from the end of June to the end of October so I don't expect it any time soon. I did manage to get a case number at least and the promise of a letter to all of us who had claims to amend by the end of June with information on when it will all be sorted out.

Let's hope the Brexit/labour to-do won't make everyone forget about holding the RPA to account for the 2015 disaster

How are you getting through on the phone, are you just pressing a different button to 2015 enquiries?

I've got a big chunk of money outstanding and have written in but don't like leaving it with the open- ended "we'll sort it in the summer" crap and want to push them hard - but how do you get through?

Ah Ah thanks Lazy Sod - just checked my entitlements and they have been corrected to what they should be! Not checked to see if BPS money in the bank yet, plus the penalty fine imposed!

Had a payment that looks like it covers my missing money and fine and had my entitlements corrected. Received a follow up statement, but that doesn't make things much clearer, but no apology!

So the upshot is that 15 months ago you submitted a valid claim which it has taken them till now to process. A lot can happen in 15 months - unless you're the useless, broken RPA!

Oh and yes folks I am getting more bitter by every day I remain unpaid and ignored by em

Same here, it's a cluster f**k!
I have one field that has huge areas of rocks appearing in the middle of a grass field that doesn't exist, and I've lost the appeal and they won't tell me what the fine is, what a bunch of strokers in charge.
