Brake pipe tool

Looking for a brake pipe flaring tool for 1/4" pipe that will make the bubble [convex] ends as well as the flare [concave] ends, also need the male and female pipe end nuts that have enough thread to make a decent connection. Problem is that the 1/4" kit seems four times more expensive than other sizes. Just wondered if anyone has experience of this...?

Is this any good to you? It does do 1/4" (up to 5/8"?) and I think it does the ends you want. It is rather heavy, used with obvious signs of wear and surface rust but did the job for me. Complete with instructions enclosed.

Have had many pipe flaring tool inflicted on me by various garage owners, and none of the hand held were worth bothering with! One of the worst was Snap On, produced oval pipe and flares, thats when it bothered to grip said pipe! If its quarter metal your working with, cant you find a hydraulic line compression fitting to do the job?
The one I have does quarter, I dont know the maker, but will have a look and let you know.

Good your getting sorted ........
Do a few test runs on new pipe, especially if the pipe to be flared is in place on the vehicle.
