Who uses it in there calves and who doesn't??

What was it that made you decide to vaccinate with it and or why don't you??

We have never used it but lost q calve this year that vet reckoned was clostridial so considering it

Used it a few years now, after losing a fattening bull to blackleg. Do all calves at 6 months and as breed our own replacements do cows annually as well. Vet says should stop the sudden death which occurred occasionally in cows. For the cost of just one animal saved will cover all the vaccine costs. Its a no brainer.

We Bravoxin 10 all the calves, both doses. Tetanus and blackleg always have been a problem in this area. As mentioned before the loss of one good calf would pay for 2/3 years vaccine for the whole herd!

Ditto - all of the above. Calves jabbed at about a month old. Two doses 2/4 weeks apart..
But - as you can get 'lumpy' reactions to the vax, we do them behind the shoulder, not on the neck.

Started using it 15 odd years ago after losing a couple of good calves to sudden death which subsequently tested confirmed Blackleg. Vaccinationcorresponds with Spot-on and Lepto vaccine for cows. Its a cheap vaccine which I don't grudge.

We have a couple of 'blackleg fields' as discovered by my father in law a few decades ago. Always vaccinated since then for blackleg and changed to Bravoxin 10 about 10 years ago, wider cover for hardly any different cost. It's a cheap vaccine that can save lives. Calves get the 2 course primary dose before turnout but we don't do any other age groups.

Always used to do all our calves with Blackleg vaccine for first turnout, which could be anything up to 9 months old depending on when they were born.
These days I’d use Bravoxin instead as I expect it’s cheaper than the Blackleg only one.
Think it’s very similar 🤔 but you get Tetanus in the B10 too 👌🏻 we use B10 before first turnout nowadays as it saves buying a different product that’s useless once we’ve done the calves. If I time it right all the heifers get jabbed at the same time as the ewes get their pre lambing booster and it’s all works in nicely
