Bravoxin timing

Due to various delays (!) our cattle have started their first ever bravoxin course this month. They will be due the 2nd vaccine after 14th July, but ideally I'd like to put the bull in with them now. So some of them would (hopefully) be in the very early stages of pregnancy when 2nd dose is given.
Data sheet says no evidence for use in early pregnancy, and phoning MSD got me no further info. Has anyone used this vaccine in early pregnancy to good or bad effect?

Black leg etc only affects growing cattle imo, i have never given it to anything older than a bulling hfr.
We were at a vet meeting a few years ago, clostridial vaccinations came up. The vet said they could never understand why farmers didn't treat their in calf cows the same as in lamb ewes and jab 3 weeks pre calving (ish) to provide initial cover for calf. It made sense and for the cost of Bravoxin £0.42 per booster it seemed silly too not do them. Usually ties in nicely with doing something else too. But our ground is bad for Blackleg, don't know why, so we keep vaccine fairly up too date (doesn't work every time by all means but only lose the very occasional one nowadays) first one in 4 years this spring. Was a 6 week old 7/8 bred lim bull calf. Wasn't happy!!

I dose calves with blackleg vaccine (not available so bravo in this year) when I tag them in the Spring. Touch wood that eliminated the problem. I have only ever had blackleg in spring born calves. Usually the biggest bull calve every other year dead next to a watercourse. Lots of jobs could be done with suckler cows on the odd occasion they are all run through the crush. Unfortunately, usually there is someone on £120 ph in attendance who you want to get rid of as fast as possible, they are getting a different vaccine like BVD, someone is scanning them on a piece rate who would get annoyed if you delay the job
