Breakup of United Kingdom.

Now that English nationalist fuelled Brexit, has all but ensured the breakup of the United Kingdom, it‘s reassuring to see the quality media in UK, unafraid to shine a light, on what many do not want to acknowledge or talk about.

If you are a farmer Ashy, I think you need some fresh air and perhaps cut some grass. Help you get politics out of your system a bit. It’s nice outdoors this time of year

What is of more concern is that after more than 100 years of independence, the Irish Republic can't afford a National health Service, folk have to drink a lot, just to forget about the extortionate price, and it continues to rely on handouts from the EU.

Why on earth didn't they have the guts to leave the EU along with the UK. The answer of course is that along with the EU, they are intent on inflaming the situation in NI just out of spite.

And support for independence in Scotland is certainly no higher, and possibly lower, than what it was in 2014. And what is the level of support for independence in Wales?

The Welsh support?

Bit like my erections these days .... thinks about it, begins to rise, then flops back exhausted

I'm sure you're just having a laugh, no one can consider the guardian a quality newspaper, when you have writers such as toby jones and monbiot who are typical champagne socialists who just love to tell us all how clever they are and have the answers to all problems, in real life however I wonder if they could even tie their own shoelaces

I’m sensing denial, manifested by deflection and disbelief.
Do read the article again. Twice or three times if you feel your urge to walk away. Let the hard facts exposed sink in. Don‘t resist so much, no matter how strong your urge to scream.
You will see clearer afterwards. You will see that emerging from the fog of Britishness, are independent minded nations and NI of course going home. Ironic I know, that it took action by white English to quote an earlier post, to finally sunder the tenuous ties between the nations, of the UK. The nations are “taking back control”.

What you read in the press is just another persons perspective not necessarily balanced overview. I would never believe what’s written and said in the media without a lot of other research. It’s all opinion

Any research you do on the subject will bring you face to face with cold hard facts, which individually and collectively point to breakup of UK.
1. NI Protocol has already put NI on the most tenuous of connections to the union. Imminent border poll will finish the job.
2. Scottish independence gets more likely by the day.

Yes, no matter ones view of The Guardian, the facts of their article speak for themselves.
Of course nothing is guaranteed, but the evidence points strongly in one direction.

What makes you think Scottish independence is so certain? The SNP hold nothing like the popular vote nor are they supported by the bulk of Scottish people if their most recent election is anything to go by.

Perhaps a return to practising that clog dancing malarkey you probably did as a kid would clear the fog?

If break up happens that's down to the electorate who vote for parties that want breakaway and not forced by Westminster

WHY DO YOU CARE? You are like the village idiot around here. It's good comedy but I can get that on the telly also.
