Brexit ' Down and Out '.

My understanding.
Am I correct?
If May's deal goes down and an amended or completely new deal can't be done before 29/03/19, then we just leave on WTO terms?
To withdraw Article 50, would require legislation or an act of parliament, which may be impossible before the deadline?

There were 2 marches yesterday and both sides are claiming to have vastly outnumbered the other and both are claiming to have been peaceful while the other was disorderly!

The unconfirmed figures are approximately 2,000 at the Tommy Robinson /UKIP march for a hard Brexit. And 10,000 at the opposing march which was mostly to do with anti fascism rather than Brexit.

Everyone in the country is non the wiser as to anything that Theresa May has stated as " This is the best option for the country " , I am sorry but I do not know what the option is .

The deal has been published, in full, on the government website and has been linked to from many places including the BBC. Have a look and then you won't be so uninformed.

What irritates me most about all this, is that many are acting as if TM has actually been truthful and really did 'negotiate'. It really is insulting to our intelligences - Leave or Remain - for us to be expected to trust her any more.

But there never was going to be any meaningful negotiation with a rules based organisation like the EU. And this is something that many UK parliamentary members along with TM still don't appear to understand. It's a bit like going to the Inland revenue and suggesting a negotiation on your tax bill. They can tweak it a bit, but overall it's not up for negotiation.

Not even “they need us more than we need them”, can change the outcome. But that’s rather a lot for a true Brexiteer to comprehend in one bite. Therefore it has been necessary to have about a zillion lessons over the course of 18 months or so, to help them. Doesn’t help when they are to a large degree, an unruly lot and keep on disrupting the teacher.
Dont you think they should repeat the entire course in a special classroom environment.?

You misunderstand me, although I think it interesting that you think the EU is based on 'rules', next you'll be telling us it follows them too...

However, my point is nothing to do with the EU, it is with regard to Mrs May, She has lied again and again and others who know this either play along or say nothing. This isn't an example of political naivety, it is a simple observation that many of our own parliamentarians do not have the necessary moral integrity to be in their jobs.

Bullsh#t statement from TM and criminal that the mp's are laughing and acting like performing clowns at such an important time. Get her gone and get boris in and lets get the brexit that the democratic vote won fair and square in the eyes of uk law.

It's always a facepalm moment whenever I watch footage from the commons. The behaviour is atrocious, infantile and down right embarrassing, and that's from all sides and corners of the house.

I am not uninformed, today Theresa May stated that she is putting all on hold until she has gone back to Brussels to try and get more support and see if there is more she can do to get the EU approval. So any report published to date is now laughable , and it proves that a deal has not been done , a deal is done when all is finalized. People need to wake up,what she states is never the only option . If it was ,she would still not be grovelling to the EU as for the BBC I would never trust any news they put out as most of it is fake .
The deal on the government website is a proposal, not a done deal , misinformation is useful especially to a shattered government which is now about to implode.

You wrote that you didn't know what the option was. At the time you wrote that, the option was available to be read. Ergo, you were uninformed.

Again it is unconfirmed reports ,and again it was wrong. There were never 10,000 opposing the march, which was not a Tommy Robinson march,it was a protest against the way the Brexit issue has been handled, and there were disabled people, ex service personnel, housewives etc, etc.
If you go on the You tube channel there are plenty of videos showing a peaceful march ,and the police stated that non of those who marched caused any trouble or were arrested ,but the opposite protest, not march was marred by agitators who were there as usual to cause trouble .

Freedom of speech works both ways , but in countries like France, and Belgium that has turned in to direct action against the authorities ,with bad consequences for many.

It was peaceful considering Tommy Robinson was leading it, but that was mainly due to the small number of protesters.
