its an interesting situation the rights and wrongs of leaving or staying aside , do the politicians think that the way they are carrying on, all quite obviously trying to position themselves in to which ever camp they think will give them the most personal benefit in the weeks and months to come is going to help them in any way with the Public perception of them ?
it seems to me that the MP's from all sides where given a kicking Via the brexit vote, sure it was about europe , but also about how inept the public feel our MP's of all parties have dealt with europe the public where fed up them, politics and the EU
Here we are 2 years down the line and frankly from day one of negotiation no MP's have helped themselves with the perception we the public have of them , they have since day 1 constantly undermined our own negotiating position with the EU, leaked on an almost daily basis information about the discussions and publicly feuded with each other. while the EU have stayed calm focused and in unison with each other over Brexit negotiations.
So here we are at the 11th hr, of trying to make a round pin fit in a square hole , it can't be done without compromise on all sides , yet still they squabble among themselves.
And us the voters become more disillusioned by them all.

When this Brexit vote started it was presented in the same way as the following:
Would you like this cow or that cow? [you can do this with crops, moisture, ergot, hapberg, contamination]
This cow produces this many litres of milk and that one another amount.

Then more details appear,
The age of the cows
Their Johnes status
The BTB tests they have

Now - will your original choice be the same?
A question that is not underpinned with information is a sentiment not an informed choice.

Now you have an informed choice, how you use this information is down to your balance of risk and reward. You may stick with what you first chose, may move to undecided or may swap sides. This IS your choice.

It is NOT reasonable to expect decisions to remain the same once more information becomes available. If you want an example where, what I would call "due diligence", was not performed take a look at the HP acquisition of Autonomy. Due diligence is beginning to be shown, you must re-weigh your decision using your criteria.

If you don't re-weigh your decision I would be very interested to understand why.

What a joke.

The pretense the Remainers are still telling the truth.

How can you even pretend that someone who is willing to sell the country out would EVER say the truth ?

Theresa May has bet the whole country on her ego .. I wouldn't even call it human.

European court of justice says it can be withdrawn, unilaterally by the UK.
We would carry on as before.

"The European Commission's view was that changing your mind is fine, but that the other 27 have to agree unanimously to let you stay in. The British government simply said "we don’t want to change our minds, and so you have no business even deciding this case".

Well, on Tuesday the advocate general of the court gave his opinion; it's not a binding opinion, the judges can overrule him and decide something else, but for the most part (80% of the time or more) they don't. "

As I said, it is not certain.

What a good analogy (y)

No it is not.
It would be a good analogy if it was- would you like a 2nd generation calf from this cow or the other cow?. You have the information on these cows but we won't tell you how we will treat their calves.
We can sit back and wait to see what calf we finally get given or just take a cow and get it blood tested, vaccinated and put to a Bull of our choice.

That's a fair point but if you go into a negotiation with unrealistic expectations, as I believe was the case here, then you are unlikely to feel satisfied with the conclusion.
It wasn’t the expectation that was unrealistic, it was the fact that the one in charge of the negotiations was undermined at every point by the pm and the civil service.once the eu saw this it was easy for them, classic divide and rule.imho the negotiations should of been done by a cross party of MPs but and it’s a big but they should of all been from the brexit side of the argument especially after the last election when both the main parties stood on a manifesto which clearly stated that we would leave

What informed choice all we have had is more project fear

Project Reality, more like.

:LOL::ROFLMAO:

Theresa May's deal has nothing in it about Tariffs, Free Trade .. absolutley nothing. Yet Mark Carney is able to forecast the future based on the next round of negotiations which haven't even happened and depend on the EU 27 who have done everything they can to destroy the UK.

The reality is Westminster has done nothing but issued fear, propaganda and lies.

The reality is Remainers are friggin stupid.
