I think there is a thread somewhere though I have to admit I can't think who Brian Hind was but the name rings a bell.

Thanks Henarar. I am a bit short of time just now, so rarely log in, and would not have seen this otherwise. Sad news. I never saw any of his articles, but did enjoy his posts on FWi. Always respectful to those with whom he disagreed and informative when writing to non-USA readers.

Thanks @Henarar. So sad. Always enjoyed his insights into American agriculture and I think he was one of the more rational members of FWi. Seemed a really nice guy.

I only heard yesterday, at LAMMA, I haven't seen a Farmer's Weekly for months.
Very sad to hear, it doesn't seem long ago at all he was writing about starting his family at a late age.
