WHY is it so hard to find the bfu on here? would it not be better to have a big button at the top? very few new people are going to be able to join as it cannot be found. Its ok for the forum people as they know where and how to find it, and yes I paid my tenner a while ago.still have not found it but will keep trying(y) otherwise keep up the hopefully good work.

Users are finding it before we're really ready. e.g. a new BFU PayPal account has only just been linked to the system, sign up is a bit convoluted, but Chris F has worked on this, manual processes still required for some sign ups.

We'll promote it when we're sure it all works correctly. Just bare with us for a bit longer.

Homepage to promote to friends via text, WhatsApp will be this one https://www.bfu.org.uk/

Tff page is here https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?forums/bfu/

Slightly messy, but works on TFF if we can get over how to do it.

A little patience is required, it went live through popliar demand before it was completely ready.

Couple of interesting emails over the weekend from NFU members. BFU just out of the starting blocks, and structure yet to be decided, but seems to have sparked interest.

Might be the increased say of the individual members which is the attraction. Policy driven from the bottom upwards, rather than from the top down.

Anyway, there must be dissatisfaction from some NFU members, who like idea of a refreshingly new nationwide organisation.

Not meant to be an NFU bashing post, but maybe there is a better way.

  1. CD's were all the rage until downloads came along.
  2. Book stores were big, then came Amazon.
  3. VISA made all the profits, until PayPal provided a new offering.
The ability to work with others who have similar ideas, online, distance no object, ground up thinking and change.
