I did notice that several friesians seem to be negative for fertility. Did he hold well? I just thought he is something a bit different.

Only calved 6 so far. very quiet and will stand still with no fuss in the parlour. Not sure what to serve them back with yet. Elijah they were served to as heifers but none available sexed atm. What are yoi serving them to? Like the look of milkman but hes not sexed aswel.

Forgot inch Jay as well is really nice

Genus are going to have to up their game at this rate as cogent have some crackers in atm
I know genus have few who's the highest pli but I'm not one to chase pli personally

Have a few Kirkby Jupiter heifers calved in this autumn block. Nice enough heifers, but their parlour manners is poor. Most have taken a month to settle down to milk quietly. They are very quiet otherwise around the yard, but fidgety when milking, nothing nasty, annoying all the same. Have Samson heifers ar yearlings for next year, and Jingle as calves, and ordered Jingle for this year also.

Does Elijah carry a red gene? Had 1hfr and 1 bull calf- both Elijah's both-r&w.

My understanding is it’s double recessive so both parents need to carry it to produce a red but I may be wrong in that

Just don’t want too many feet issues, rather use a 50/50 bull but there aren’t any really to get best of both.

No, tend to only look that far when I'm buying, avoiding looking as I'll end up buying and I'm meant to be serving to limo
