Are there any kiwi bulls you rate particularly highly? I am drawn to them slightly because I'd like to maintain my proteins at near jersey levels while sending a bit more volume.
We've used alot of lamont over past couple of years but not milking yet cracking looking hefers. got a load of golden boy's milking nice deep bodied heifers with great solids.

There are other traits that are different as well but some are the same.

They are both August 15 proofs

Here's a Quentin daughter. She's a pet and looks after herself very well. She will even let me ride her down the cow track!

She is dry in that picture but has been a very good milker. Used alot of quentin over the last three years.

Anyone used Hilton?

I've used him a lot. Oldest cows are in their fifth and sixth lactations. You're welcome to come and have a look. Hope you're reaclimatised to the Cornish weather "

The SCI is sh!t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! look at him in EBI, use bulls with over 100Euro for milk and fertility and a plus for health, i use it for all the bulls i use, makes much more sense to get info from herds who are actually are spring calving(y)

I've come over all hot and bothered seeing British Friesians mentioned on the forum!!
We have never really moved away, although we have used the odd Holstein and NZ Friesian and cross bred to Swedish red but we have always come back to BF because everything we were trying to gain by going else where the BF already had (apart from a bit of milk).
Foxhole Panetella brilliant bull, superb longevity. went back three times and searched out bulls from daughters.
Marshside Performer
unfortunately missed M Rocket 3 as I had used MR2 without much success and thought 3 was the same bull:bigtears::bigtears::bigtears:
Leesthorpe Ferneley great longevity just had an 8th lactation cow classified Ex 93
Blackisle glenalbyn lots of lovely cows, bought the last 200 straws of which I have 7 left. The cow above has just been PD incalf to him with twins:scratchhead:

younger cows by Lakemead Randolf, not sure yet, D Quentin seems short on milk, used Collycroft solo last year, Langley centrello this year and our own bulls on heifers.
