87.5%. Why?
What % friesian does a calf need to be before it's on a friesian base instead of Holstein?

I am a milking a few Solo heifers and really pleased with them such that I have used him again this time, and he,s an outcross!Collycroft solo heifer.
Cancelled my conventional but still going to used 40 straws of sex d because I still think he's a good bull. Going to buy some blackisle glenfinnian insteadWill you still use premier @Friesianfan although his pli has dropped? Guess it's not good for you trying to sell high pli Bulls.
I've used Glenfinnan , not to put you off but I was disappointed with his daughters. It was only 5 but none were milkers.

Too soon. He won't have any milking daughters for another two years. Is anyone milking any Joseph daughters yet? Or too soon?
The figures are based on the first three lactations I think. In my experience a slow starting heifer usually makes a long lasting cow.How does Josephs mother milk @Friesianfan ? Do you think his milk figures will come up a bit in time?
