just watched, on utube, about farming in Illinois, during ww2, Friesian fan, you would be pleased looking at their holstien cows, they look like good friesians !!!!!! you wouldn't want to know about their milking systems though. Just goes to show how breeds evolve, mind you, you'd want to run from the aryshires !!!!

None milking yet but got some that are in calf they are lovely and quiet at the moment hopefully be the same in the parlour.

We have about 40 kirkby cows that we purchased as incalf direct from thr herd, other than one who i think was wired up wrong and long gone, temperment all very good.
