british sugar levy refund overdue?

NFU Sugar are on the case still. There are discussions ongoing about the interest that’s also due with payment.

Hopefully it’ll all be resolved before the end of March by the latest.

no I am not relying on it, but £600 is worth having.+ interest.
Also I still havent had my single farm payment , or els. dont know why I bother to claim.

I think it is the EU who have objected to some aspect. It was a nice surprise to learn I will get this sum after 10 years not growing beet.
Very different to the thousands of pounds we invested in the dairy industry We did not qualify dor having left a few months early!
Should not complain about windfalls

That's reassuring. At least we can blame something else on the EU. Going to miss that!

I think it’s only for two years 1999/00 and 2000/01 ?

It’s been held up due to the EU not agreeing with Defra’s interest rate.
