Broadband speed!

So a new world record has been set:

Yet we struggle in rural UK to get 2megabits for a working internet. That speed above is 22 million times faster than 2megabits.

Years ago they promised to fix this

Tbh I am happy enough pootling along as I am.

Can’t really see the need for ever faster speeds. So long as what I want to watch doesn’t buffer, all’s good

Been on satellite WiFi here for years as are most around here due to poor/no fibre. These winds are making 1 bar 3G faster than the WiFi though

I believe it has more to do with the Financial Markets (Stocks and Shares), as 0.000000001 etc means millions / billions to them when trading opens.

I am quite happy with my 4G DIY Jobbie, as Fiber is in NEver Never Land here - false promises:
