Never had a cats chance of spraying last autumn , therefore I'll have to bash it soon
I'm thinking BS will fit the bill as it seems to kill everything we have ( no blackgrass)
Anyone experience of this product , or alternatives and a price guide if poss (y)

Oh I didn't spray the WB either any recommendations ?

It's good but I try not to use it - can effect following crop and does check wheat quite badly sometimes which IMO must hit yield, a topic, starane, ally mix is my preferred spring option where needed depending on weed spectrum

This is where TFF excells, I'm a little in the dark regarding this situation , as normally if it's sown it's sprayed , I'm not entirely confident of agronomist advice so a little wiser am I (y)

Great product. Kills brome, wild oats & ryegrass along with a wide spectrum of broad leafed weeds. Not as harsh as spring Atlantis but it does have a crop effect - what's the alternative?!

Should be circa £110/4 ha pack. Best used on its own with non ionic wetter rather than mixed with a strong brew of growth regulators, managanese & fungicides (esp Bravo).

What do you need to spray out of your barley? Axial is about the only option you have legally for grasses but this won't do brome & am not sure about AMG.

That's interesting , I'm reluctant to hit it hard at this stage, it's had a hard life since sowing as it is, it's tillered well considering so maybe a hard herbicide isn't best this year
As for WB it'll be ally starane axial and round up, at least there will be plenty of straw

Have used Broadway star in past with good results, used Broadway Sunrise on some headlands last year, kills blackgrass as well. Did a fantastic job and in some cases wished I'd done whole fields! Neither are cheap chemicals, Sunrise works out at around £12 ha more. As Clive has mentioned on some fields, I use topic, starane, ally together, cheaper mix.

I don't agree. Weeds are fully controlled. In my view resistance comes from predictable and repetitive doses more frequently rather than lower doses less often.

I think 20 years (4-5 sessions of it) will be ok.

Suit yourself. Less than a 100% kill will result in selecting resistant plants by them being able to shrug off a sub lethal dose. Poor application techniques of any dose will also do this e.g. wrong nozzle/no adjuvant/poor coverage/partial rain wash off

@bobk what weeds are you trying to kill? The graminicide element pushes the cost up somewhat. The other posters are right in advocating a cheaper Ally/Starane/Topik mix depending on what you are trying to achieve.

Broadway star great product for an all round clean up job but no amg control. Good on cleavers vol osr vol beans wild oats brome chickweed canary grass charlock fools parsley etc, gaps are mainly fumitory so I have seen. Keep the mix simple, just a wetter only buthalf rate cecece if needs be but no more.

I've been using more Broadway as I have been cutting down on Atlantis use, I find that Brome wild oats and cleavers are present in some fields so it fits the bill, if no brome then topic, starane
It depends what weeds are present in the field of course on which products suit !
