Broardband Speed

We are currently receiving 0.72mbs which is a big improvement over the 0.45 mbs we were getting up to summer.
We were told that super fast fibre broadband was coming during 2016 as part of a council / government scheme but it only got to within 2 miles and no one can tell me if there are plans to extend it further.
We are the last of four properties on this unconnected 2 mile stretch - has anyone in a similar position had fibre put in or are BT likely to play the "exceptional" card due to the distance?

Weve just installed 4g broadband, got a connecting devon and somerset voucher which paid for installation,

Obviously more than bt broadband! 128gb is costing me £50 per month, but theres no line rental and all calls are free thrrough the wifi, and i even kept the same number.

However i would think there is a problem on your line. Your upload is twice the speed of your download

Yeah I've tested it before and it's been the other way round might try another tester , what's your hardware / router set up? I can see your with EE.
