We have experienced that many times over the years. 10% destock etc. Older sites will be the first to go. Many in Scotland and south West no longer in production. Wait until American chicken comes in then there will be fireworks.
Just follow the games being played by BJ now. I think the fisherman will have a rude awakening too.

How feasible is it to import chicken from the American continent? I am totally ignorant of the practicalities. Obviously it’s cheaper, but would it have to be frozen, or could fresh meat be supplied from across the Atlantic?
