I think the results are here https://www.bidspotter.co.uk/en-gb/auction-catalogues/brown-and-co/catalogue-id-ibbr10023 for anyone interested.
Might be odd bits wrong but think it was fairly accurate from what I saw. The paper catalogue was missing a large number of lots that were added in later. A few lots had an a,b,c right upto about v!
We viewed on the Thursday and a lot of the stuff, particularly the cultivators, looked like it had had a very hard life.

A theory I heard was that they are in a producer group which applies to the EU for development grants.

You can't apply for a grant for a new harvester or sprayer or whatever if you have a similar machine on your asset list.

Therefore if you sell off the tired kit, you can apply for grants for new stuff.

This may be right, though they'd still need to be hiding a lot of kit on the asset lists of a lot of different LTD companies to claim they needed a new sprayer/harvester/trailer whatever?

They have a clear out sale every once in a while.
Remember going to one there in 1975 - with father in our Moggy 1000 truck! and think they've had another in-between too?

A few photos from the sale day...............
