Watched 3 forecasts tonight and all we're different, Simons says we're out of luck for this week but bbc said we might get a bit, with the temps forecast I think we could take half an inch to an inch without much fault.

with the ground temps at present most precip will be absorbed and not evaporated.
bit like tipping water onto a hot plate ya get steam,on a cold plate it stays in situ and will be absorbed through capillary action.

Not sure he spent most of the winter under forecasting rain volume with his 7 day, so hoping the trend continues :)

Cant comments on his forecasts as i do my own reading of the outputs and stick with them.
can only blame myself if they go wrong then lol.
To be fair though model agreement has been thin on the ground of late.Only now we have it things look much better regards warmth,start lambing here on the 18th so well happy with today's outputs.
