Various wires too low over entrances ,wires on ground ,old posts just left standing,
fibre optics through dead trees the list goes on and on is there any way you can make this terrible outfit take responsibility ?
They seem not to care and make it difficult to get hold of anyone to sort problems,
and when you do get hold of someone they tell you it will be looked at and you hear nothing.

Those are all the responsibility of Openreach, which is [not quite] BT.

Technically correct but the two seemed to be mentioned together from subcontractors just to make it harder to speak to someone who is in charge.
Yes, in fact I have no idea whether you can directly contact Openreach. If it is not possible, then I seriously doubt whether they are a properly separate company.

Openreach are comical bunch, contacting CEO is the only way to get things moving.
Even then they are prone to horrendous errors, massive wastage of time and resources.
Had two of their employees here for one day to finish a fibre to premises install, I had done most of the work.
Labour charge 2 people, one day £6000, when they arrived they announced the wrong cable had been delivered and they had to get more sent down from Slough, job went into two days.
In the end job was not done properly they had to refund me and pull a new cable a couple of miles at their own expense just for me.
The guys working for them can be subcontractors, or affiliates, they all have long tales to tell about jobs going on forever.
Had people turning up to finish the job on a regular basis for months after it was completed.
