Bucket brush.

How quick and easy are bucket brushes to take on and off a bucket? And is there a preferred make with the best system ?

I only have one telehandler bucket here which gets used daily so want to know if it's super easy to just drop on and off the brush? Or is it the type of machine you need a dedicated bucket for.

I have a 3 point linkage Sutton brush but the collector on it is next to useless and doesn't get used that often as when tractors are already hooked up to machines it's a faff to put the brush on for a quick sweep up and have to use the Tele bucket anyway to collect the sweepings.

But for only say a couple hours/days use a month attaching a brush to a bucket and using one machine is far simpler than unhitching tractor from implement to use current brush and also using the Tele handler as well to scoop up . Along with the extra expense a bucket adds to the cost for infrequent use. I know that's the obvious solution.
Interested to know if any have a slick attachment method to others. 🤔

They are fairly easy to get on and off, mine has two pins at the top. Crowd the bucket forward so the brush stands against a wall pull the pins, easy.

Much easier than a linkage brush, as said if you where going to use it every day then a dedicated bucket would be best but for occasional use clipping it on is no big deal.

Never having used one (we have a tractor rotary brush) but if using these bucket brushes on single lanes that aren’t level, or raised in the middle and sunk either side, does the bucket run along the floor? If not how does the brush manage to get the mud into the bucket if the road isn’t level.

Go backwards and the brush will throw most of the muck into the bucket, resweeping the rest. You just need to find a flat place to end the sweeping run with leaving two heaps.

As for taking brush on/off, if you spend some time and care dropping it off somewhere nice and level it will be much easier to refit
