With it looking like a lot of spring sowing will be going on, it got me wondering if many had ever tried buckwheat? It is quite a popular crop here but I don’t recall ever seeing any in the uk

Interestingly I have had someone ask about growing it for seed here in the UK but I haven't come across anyone doing that before. A bit of interest in sowing it in the autumn on the field margins to attract flea beetle from a rape crop but other than that I haven't seen any about for many years.
