Looking on Google and came up with this:

I don’t think that’s a reflection of the car capability so much as the drivers’, plus the benefits of a diff lock.

That's true, but the Subaru AWD sends power to the wheels that have the grip, without a diff lock too. Have you ever used one in snow?

Flat bottom helps too, nothing hangs any lower than you can observe from the side.

Neighbour had a Justy that would act like a snowplough and get through drifts up to the windows. That impressed me a lot, but I'll stick to the Defender I think.

not really what your after but you can ride in luxury,

that is the weirdest dealers ive ever been to, its a multi storey car park they either rent or have bought and its full in every carspace over aronud 3/4 levels of cars forsale, seems well dodgy to me :censored: money laundering springs to mind

Seem OK and Honest if you use Google...o_Oo_Oo_O

I’ve never googled them just know there dodge that is literally the worst set of reviews I’ve ever seen Clarified my laundering speculation too!

Been around for years under different names.... Have some exotic stuff in there as well or at least they used to.

Paid £4.5k for this a couple of months ago, 110k on it. Needed a good clean but has turned into a nice truck. Just in the orocess of undersealing it to try and prolong its existence!

New clutch & decent tyres----only problem i've had with it has been front diff which i believe is their main fault?

I've used a Subaru in snow and it was near useless. The front suspension blocked up absolutely solid with compacted snow, leaving it with no front articulation or spring whatsoever. Maybe if its only a light dusting or ploughed hard packed main road snow where any front wheel drive car on snow tyres would go, its acceptable, but not for me on the farm.

For the opposing viewpoint, I've seen a Subaru where the drifts were up to bonnet height and the snow was parting at the windscreen. Most impressive small car performance I've ever witnessed.
