The young have naff all money. A small clutch of rich retirees have plenty. Expect a redistribution; a focus on getting investment out of Cayman Islands etc and into productive assets or infrastructure; and beyond that a proper "new deal" spendathon. A real "no looking back" job. And dualling the A15.
How many years has the A15 been on the duel up list ,,20 to my knowing and it will be as many again before it gets done ,,its the main reason why businesses wont move into lincolnshire as the road net work is prehistoric.

and I think you will find we are in "transition" and will continue to meet EU obligations, or at least most of them, during this transition period.
Correct, we have left and are now in a transition period, it may well be that nothing much has changed yet but you did state in your previous post that we haven’t left yet .

Send them up to Northumberland. We have had a full planning application in since last november and got nowhere very fast. They let it run to the end of the time, then ask for more information, and it goes on and on.
Didn't realise you needed planning in Northumberland, you need to speak to DC?

What the government should do is a joint venture with Tesla and Google to build smart road infrastructure to allow autonomous driving. Be the first in the world so that all the sub contractor expertise is built in the country and can be exported all over the world. Build some real wealth creation.

Imagine the righteous indignation on here, if today Labour were in power, and the chancellor had given the exact same stimulus budget as Sunak did.
OMG ..... TFF would be only one media platform for the righteous ones, to vent their dire warnings of imminent collapse of the economy.
The little dwarf, would be beside himself. Probably calling for the immediate arrest and prosecution without a defence lawyer, of a battery of people for interference at the highest levels of power. George Soros would be first up. Then probably Gordon Brown ... well he’s Scottish and so that in itself is reason to arrest him. Noam Chomsky would come into play. Might even dig up Terry Wogan, such would be the depth of treachery on the left.
