Read a interesting article the other day about driving in the 80s, in the summer time there would be thousands of dead insects stuck to the front lights, number plate etc etc, Today however, not a problem any more, I think i know whats caused it, what about everyone else. Could it have a knock on affect in the cycle of life.

Did hear something on telly last week about the lack of insects in general ..not seen any daddy long legs about this year ,only a couple of wasps all summer ,not really any flies/blue bottles ,,plenty of honey bees but not many bumbles

Funny you shoul say as we’ve seen more daddy long legs this year than ever I think. They’ve been everywhere last few months!!

Its a sign that the four horsemen of the apocalypse are galloping our way.

Oh well, at least we won't have to patch the grass after the leatherjackets have taken their toll.
Apparently in German nature reserves they are seeing a large drop in numbers of insects. no surprise there as there is nothing for them to live on and perhaps they've had to moved to near by farms.

Plenty of bugs splattered on the front of my Hondas, flys been a right nuisance in the parlour this week. Loader was left parked up by muckheap with back window open :banghead::facepalm: Cab was full of flys time I needed to use the loader.
