You've got to compare apples with apples - size isn't everything. Section of steelwork, size of uprights, galvanised or painted? All this can be difficult to compare quotes to quotes id we're not talking the same spec. We put a 30m x 15 shed up in 2019. £55k all in inc assy and boarding. Reckon that would be £70k now

No one will commit to prices as commodities price going up all the time possibly
They should be able to commit to a price ,When the quote is accepted if orders are placed with suppliers they should hold prices ,Concrete panels , zed purlins, roof sheeting ,steel and cladding been delivered here weekly with prices fixed as far back as January

Save tens of thousands shopping around and employing local erectors etc just like housebuilding. If your employing big companies with offices full of office staff etc expect it to cost tens of thousands more.

Whilst you are correct in theory, try getting anyone to quote for something let alone give you a start date that they stick too.

I’m struggling to think of any project of mine where anything / person arrived on the day they said they would to do the job.

It’s carnage out there and ro7 d here at least, I can’t see that changing.
