Building a new farmstead from scratch

After some advise really, I am an Agricultural contractor and Forage merchant from a ‘non agricultural’ background. I have a fairly established and reasonably well know business based in South Essex. I potentially have a parcel of land, only 7.25 acres that will become mine in the next few years, any tips on how to establish a new farmstead? I’m aware of permitted development rights and the need for a minimum of 5 hectares, which should not pose too much of an Issue. I would probably start with a hay/straw shed, which should be fairly straightforward planning wise, but can I site anything temporary? Are shipping containers classed as temporary structures and could I put a roof between two? Say to make a workshop or covered area to work or store machinery?

I’m hoping to be able to establish an operating base for my business, not fussed About accommodation at present as I live locally.
Fair enough, then why worry about farming it, just for the benefit of Prior Approval? It can work, but most councils see it tried pretty regularly - know anyone on the local Planning Committee?
