Bulk Bin Dust collector/cyclone

Hi, what do people think to the bulk bin dust collectors? They're fairly expensive but I'm fed up of the mess the dust makes around the bins.

Yea I like them, I hate the mess and when it goes all mushy hahaha, plus it help for my audits and ippc

We just tie used Jeyes suit round the vent pipe. It does a decent enough job, but we never seem to get a lot of dust unless we fill the bins right up.

We do that too, bulker driver suggested it - it may be a common remedy.

What's a Jeyes suit then? Those paper overalls?

i know what you are saying, mate uses a 45 gallon drum with a sqaure cut out and extend the vent tube down, seems to catch most of it.

Yes, those dispoable overalls. We use reusable cable ties, and the arms to tie the things on, and knot the legs.

We have one on busiest bin, works well but a bit of luxury for broiler feed.
I see the new ones bolt onto the bin and are cheaper.

Dust collector works well. But if you fill the bin right to the top dust will still come out. But normal fill absolutely no mess or dust.
