I don’t actually know how much they eat, but they can eat a whole roe deer in a sitting!
I use a litre jug to scoop from a 10 litre bucket so know how much they all have individually each day, plus they get eggs and at the moment copious amounts of afterbirth 👌🏼

We used to buy shetland cull ewes for the hounds and other dogs. Buy 20 at a few pound each bring them home dispatch and use as needed. Pay for a bin from knackers to get lifted once a month about 15 quid. Not viable now as a decent cull shetland could be 60 quid so cheaper on bagged feed again

Mine have all been on Chudleys ‘Working Crunch’ for many years, which has always suited them. I might have to try them on Skinners at that price though.👍
Iv just put it on repeat order 2 bags a month same me going too the ag store for it the day I’v ran out in a big rush and it’s cheaper 👌

John Pye auctions at Marchington have been selling all sorts of dog food by the pallet recently. Might be short dated or out of date but might be worth a look. Auctions usually end Tuesday or Wednesday.
Don't forget the buyers premium!!!!!

I've only ordered one bag until I'm sure they'll eat it. One bitch in particular would almost starve rather than be forced to eat something she didn't want. Currently on a local company's Meaty Mix which they all eat fine but the amount of grains in their sh!t suggests it's not doing them as much good as it could be.
I tried a local suppliers chunky beef dog food. Smelled really nice and the dogs loved it. But as you say, the next day I was cleaning kennels out and a lot of grains in there… back on the other meaty mix we were on before and all the grains have gone.
