If you don't mind if I ask but where's it gone wrong? Is it the people your carrying for or the pay rates offered versus the running costs?
It’s a bit of both I guess.
I’ve got money owed to me from 2 jobs I did early on. That doesn’t help to convince you to go and look for new work.
I do allot for one grain merchant and the rates are alright if your not running empty much. I did a job a few times but told them from the start I didn’t want to do it, since digging my heels in I’ve fell out of favor I guess.

No I’m getting rid. I take my hat off to those who do it and make it pay. There is allot of improvements needed in the grain haulage/ intake sector and the only ones that it really affects are the ones involved in haulage.
There also really needs to be some public education about the jobs farmers and Lorry drivers do, and the unnecessary abuse they suffer.
I don’t regret trying it and I’ve met some cracking people in the short time I’ve been doing it.

I've mixed emotions about this.

I'm glad you've tried and had a go but sad it didn't work out. You can now voice your opinion backed by experience. Hope you find something better and profitable to do with your time.
